Prompt Writing Guide

Master the art of crafting effective prompts for AI image and video generation. Get stunning results with our templates and best practices.

Core Principles

Follow these fundamental guidelines for better results

Be Specific & Clear

Describe exactly what you want: subject, action, setting, style. Avoid vague terms.

❌ "A nice landscape" → ✅ "A misty mountain valley at dawn with pine forests"
Define Visual Style

Specify lighting, color palette, art style, and mood. These shape the aesthetic.

Add: "golden hour lighting, warm color palette, Studio Ghibli style, serene mood"
Camera & Composition

Include shot type, angle, and perspective for precise framing.

Add: "close-up portrait, 85mm lens, shallow depth of field, eye-level angle"
For Video: Add Motion

Videos need movement descriptions: camera motion, subject actions, pacing.

Add: "slow zoom in, subject walks forward, gentle breeze moves hair"
Keep It Focused

Don't overload prompts. Too many subjects or conflicting styles cause issues.

❌ "3 people and a dog and buildings and cars" → ✅ Focus on one main subject
Iterate & Refine

Start simple, evaluate results, then add/remove details based on output.

First try base prompt, then add "more dramatic lighting" if needed
